Nothing happens without your deserving it. Whatsoever happens you deserve it. Nobody can exploit you unless you were in need to be exploited. Nobody can make you a slave unless you were ready to become a slave and you were afraid of freedom. Nothing happens to you for which you were not hankering, for which you were not desiring, consciously or unconsciously. So it is your life and it is your freedom. ≈OSHO≈

    In many cases I think such statement is true, those in which we are imprisoned by our own fears. However, this view Osho presented made me wonder: what about in situations where young children are abused, women get raped, and small, peaceful nations got invaded? Yes those children, women, and nations can strive and thrive and demand justice, but they didn't do anything to deserve such horrible, irrevocable events that happen to them.
