Some of them even became my friends so I had much contact with them. But now I increasingly realize the function of those negative people and why existence sends them to us. They are a mirror of myself because theit intolerance and negativity is part of myself as well. So my lesson is to be aware of all feelings and thoughts which enter me because of these negative people.

Is this the way to deal with such intolerant and difficult beings?

PS Do you know a talk from Osho or another mystic where they talk about dealing with difficult people?

Love,
BashoBashohttp://twitter.com/ZorbaTheBuddha0noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5382823029636513125.post-65307275548229555642010-08-09T13:41:37.766+05:302010-08-09T13:41:37.766+05:30My Dear Basho..

I mean at first I was shocked because there are so many crazy things going on if I watch my thoughts.

I mean I don't have these everyday thoughts like "What am I going to do after this"...it's much more crazy...like I mentioned...critizising thoughts which have completly no foundation...opinions I have taken over from dominant people when I was unconscious...

But maybe it's not bad at all that my thoughts are so special. Perhaps I should just watch this garbage as well? It is such a gracious book!
"Beauty is eternity looking at itself in the mirror." I love it.

Back on topic...
You know I asked myself in the last few days...how to be free of all conditioning? My prejudices, my judgements about other people which I have taken over from friends, my opinions which doesn't come from my inner core but from people outside...
I mean, Osho always talks a lot about being free of conditioning. Only than you have absolute freedom and I totally understand the importance of this point.

But what is Osho's way to get free of my conditioning? I mean I have those opinions in my mind. Is the way just to watch everthing what is going on and to become aware of the opinions and judgements in my mind? Is this enough or is there something else I have to do?

your friend,
BashoBashohttp://twitter.com/ZorbaTheBuddha0noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5382823029636513125.post-54301213859822763442010-07-28T14:18:24.799+05:302010-07-28T14:18:24.799+05:30Dear Basho,
wow.. way to start.. so you will be r...Dear Basho,

wow.. way to start.. so you will be reading the Prophet soon.. it's one of my best loved Gibran's book.. I recommend you to savour each and every line from that book.. you will benefit a lot from it...

And please, you are not asking so many questions, like you've written.. You know beloved OSHO answered so many questions.. and he keeps on answering.. so in that regards.. if i am not able to answer a couple of question of a fellow-seeker .. what purpose will it serve of being a disciple of such a great soul.. so plz.. feel free to answer as many questions as you want.. if its within my calibre.. i will be more than happy to reply to you.. :-D

See, you are already making the right moves.. yes just like you said, "YOU JUST HAVE TO BE AWARE.." and that is the key.. if you are able to do that.. then all your problems are solved... for Meditation is watching.. becoming aware.. and when you watch.. when you become aware of your thoughts.. without any judgement.. neither for.. neither against.. just watching.. your thoughts will start evaporating.. just like water evaporates and dissapears into the air..... ..

yeah, i to have gone through the phase you mentioned.. being worried about others think of me.. trying to please everyone.. but just like i said.. its just a phase. as you start meditating more and more.. reaching depths.. all these things will no longer trouble you..

I recommend you to read this article where OSHO talks about the subject "Who is a real friend :: http://oshoonline.blogspot.com/2010/02/beloved-master-who-is-real-friend-osho.html"

lemme know how you feel about it.. this article touched me a lot..

ok, this much for the moment.. feel free to correspond..

warm regards...

your friend,

CoolDeep ((♥))CoolDeephttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04620122877815369159noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5382823029636513125.post-9141399073668506192010-07-27T18:05:13.526+05:302010-07-27T18:05:13.526+05:30Heya CoolDeep,
thanks so much for your answer. I...Heya CoolDeep,

thanks so much for your answer. I have ordered "The Prophet" on Amazon. It will be delivered tomorrow. I'm very excited.

Referring to your answer I guess you mean that I just have to be aware of the negative aspects which become surfaced to be free of them.
For instance you mention people who offend and critize me for whom I am. I discovered that I have the tendency to think about those criticism and what they said to me and my mind sometimes tries to convince myself and the people which criticized me. That doesn't seem to me like the right way because it creates inner conflict.
Therefore my question is: Is it the best to just watch the criticizing thoughts in my mind which make myself wrong?

Sorry that I'm asking so many questions, I'm just very intrested in Osho and your blog is wonderful.

Thanks, BashoBashohttp://www.twitter.com/ZorbaTheBuddha0noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5382823029636513125.post-10419235208485374412010-07-22T02:57:21.597+05:302010-07-22T02:57:21.597+05:30Dear Basho,
Kahlil Gibran has made a significant ...Dear Basho,

Kahlil Gibran has made a significant point here with these lines...

It is said it's very difficult to learn the lessons of life from our friends for the simple reason that our friends are usually nice and kind towards us.. Many a times they ignore our mistakes thiking if they brought that to our notice it would annoy or offend us.... and hence the error continues to be unseen and the lesson to be learnt from the mistakes remain untouched.

On the other hand .. when people who are like the ones Gibran has made kindda challenge us.. hurt our ego.. offend us.. so in this way our negative elements gets surfaced.... and if we are a little aware we can work towards these negative aspects which are also a part of us.... there by in thr process transcend ourselves to a higher state...

So, Gibran must have been aware when all these negative aspects of his were surfaced by such peoples and since he was aware he could transcend himself.. and yet he couldn't have the compassion to thank these people.. hence he writes, "yet strange, I am ungrateful to these teachers."

N.B: If you ever think of reading Gibran, I recommend you to strat with his best book, titled, "The Prophet"

Regards..

OSHO ((♥))CoolDeephttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04620122877815369159noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5382823029636513125.post-10464173719062508922010-07-19T03:36:21.834+05:302010-07-19T03:36:21.834+05:30Heya CoolDeep,

I havn't read his works yet, but I'm going to catch up in the next few weeks. :)

What does he mean with:

"I have learnt silence from the talkative, toleration from the intolerant, and kindness from the unkind; yet strange, I am ungrateful to these teachers."

Because I have some quite intolerant friends, so it could be very helpful to know why I learn tolerance particularly from them. Till now I was kinda worried that they could implant me their intolerance.

Looking really forward to your answer,

Cheers, BashoBashohttp://twitter.com/ZorbaTheBuddha1noreply@blogger.com
