Positive and Negative Attitudes - OSHO

One's attitude is everything.

Negative attitude negates life - they are good for dying but not good for living. Life needs positive attitudes; life feeds on them because they make you not only happy but creative also.

Once there live an old woman, but the older she became the younger she felt - because youthfulness has nothing to do with age, it is an attitude, and with age and its richness one can really be younger than the young.

The old woman was so cheerful and creative that everyone wondered at her. But you must have clouds in your life, said a visitor. "Clouds?" She replied. "Why of course: if there were no clouds where would the blessed showers come from?"

In the presence of trouble -  and there are troubles in life - the positive mind grows wings but other buy crutches.

Grow wings, and do not buy crutches."

    Hey Cool Deep, love your blog, very inspiring.
    I have thought about this issue here some days ago. I have wondered what Osho might have thought about attitude. Because everyone is saying that a positive attitude is so important.

    But isn't attitude just in the mind?

    Thank you for visiting the blog and providing your insight... yes.. attitude is also just in the mind.. like so many are..

    I am so thankful to OSHO that he made me understand Duality and going beyond it.. all this love that we are aware of is no different from the hate we know.. both are two parts of the same coin.. and the love the master is speaking about is beyond this duality of love and hate..

    same is the case with happiness, joy we are aware of .. and the positive attidue is no different.. coz its also a duality.. and one of the essentiality of Spirituality is going beyond this duality!
